Brandon Collings is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who provides mental health care for patients of all ages. Brandon believes in a Biopsychosocial approach, focusing on all aspects of a persons experiences to optimize psychiatric care. He has built upon this framework through his experiences working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He provides treatment for many mental health conditions including bipolar, psychotic disorders, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma and substance use. Brandon attended Plattsburgh State University for his undergraduate studies, and Binghamton University for his masters degree. He is board certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Brandon provides medication management for his patients and is a strong advocate for psychotherapy, lifestyle modification, organization and sleep optimization.

When not at work, Brandon can be found enjoying many hobbies, predominated by his love for music and the outdoors.

Rachelle is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, who completed her master's degree at Wilkes University. Prior to assuming the role of a nurse practitioner, she worked as an inpatient nurse in a psychiatric facility and completed comprehensive psychiatric evaluation for individuals who are in crisis.

Rachelle is board certified to manage and treat patients across all life stages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. In practice, she has focused upon the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, and other psychiatric disorders. Rachelle strives to ensure that all clients feel safe and receive culturally-competent care. She is committed to provide high quality care through collaboration with other providers and building strong relationships with patients and families. She believes that holistic body wellness and preventative care are essential to having a better mental state.

Janine is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who graduated from Decker College of Nursing in Binghamton, NY. She has a background working in direct support and case management with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. Her time working with adults and children with IDD and behavioral health needs influenced her to pursue a career in the mental health field and shaped her perspective as a person-centered provider of care.

Janine has had clinical experience and training at the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) and the Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital. She has also had clinical training at GBHC Children and Adolescent Outpatient Behavioral Health Center and NEPA Community Health Care Clinic. Her goal is to take her clinical skills learned in inpatient and outpatient settings to provide holistic care in a community-based setting for individuals and families with mental health needs.

In her free time Janine enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, playing guitar, yoga and trying out new recipes.

Michelle is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who graduated from Binghamton University. She is native to the Broome County area and is looking forward to helping those in the community she grew up in. She has experience providing comprehensive psychiatric care to both adolescents and adults, covering a wide array of diagnoses, including those with severe persistent mental illness. She has worked in both an inpatient setting, as well as a partial hospitalization program.

A therapist of your choice is recommended in conjunction with medication management, but is not a requirement. Michelle currently sees patients at our Vestal, NY office.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her golden retriever.

Jonathan is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive mental healthcare treatment to adults age 18 years and older.

Jonathan believes in a patient-centered approach, focusing on the whole person. He has professional experience working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He provides specialized treatment for a variety of mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, major depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders as well as adult ADHD, PTSD, binge-eating disorder and many others.

Jonathan began working in the mental health field in 2015 as a registered nurse at Binghamton General Hospital on an inpatient behavioral health unit. He earned a Master’s degree in 2019 from Binghamton University, becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

Jonathan provides medication management to his patients, and he is a strong advocate for healthy lifestyle choices and psychotherapy.

Joy is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who received her Masters degree from Binghamton University.

She is experienced in treating a comprehensive range of mental health concerns. She enjoys working with children as well as adults.

She specializes in treating PTSD, ADHD, behavioral disturbances, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and personality disorders, among many other psychiatric conditions.

She believes in compassionate, holistic, patient-centered care and suggests (but does not require) that her patients also engage in psychotherapy with a counselor of their choice.

Jacqueline Ponticiello, NPP-C, FNP-C is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and additionally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Jacqueline provides integrative medical care for the children, teens and adults of her practice. A graduate of Binghamton University's Family Nurse Practitioner Program, and Upstate Medical University's Post Master's Certificate Program for Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry, Jacqueline has provided care for patients with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Insomnia, and ADD/ADHD concerns since 2010.

Jacqueline's approach to patient care emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive evaluation to determine any potential underlying medical causes of the patient's symptoms. She offers initial medication consultations and ongoing prescription services. As part of treatment planning, she recommends, but does not require counseling in addition to medication management. She also focuses on strategies to improve the diet, sleep, organization skills, and exercise habits of her patients, in order to bring out the best in the children, teens, and adults under her care.

Cindy works with women, men, couples, teens, and children in a professional, confidential setting using a variety of counseling theories including CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, Art Therapy and Play Therapy. Cindy’s most recent experience is in an inpatient behavioral science center, delivering a wide array of group and individual therapies.

A sincere pledge and partnership with you will be developed with an approach custom fit for you and your unique self. Nia Been is a Licensed Master Social Worker who provides Mental Health Counseling to adults 18+ at Aspect. She received her Master of Social Work from Binghamton University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from SUNY Old Westbury. Nia utilizes a variety of evidence-based practices including CBT, Mindfulness-Based stress reduction, narrative therapy, MI, SFBT, humanistic, Client-Centered, and integrative therapy with her patients.

Nia has previous experience in youth residential treatment facilities, inpatient and outpatient substance use treatment, outpatient mental health clinics and private practice, and correctional facilities. Her specialties include anxiety disorders, depression, mood regulation disorders, trauma processing (including intergenerational and domestic violence), substance use, boundary setting, improving self-esteem, and dual diagnosis treatment for clients with co-occurring mental health disorders (with or without co-occurring substance use disorder). Nia is a tremendous advocate for her clients and believes that all people can implement positive changes in their lives, that can lead to substantial improvements in an individual’s quality of life, regardless of their situation. Nia believes in promoting each client’s right to self-determination to the highest degree.
